Saab is a Swedish car manufacturer company that was founded in 1945 by a Swedish aerospace and defense company named Saab AB. Initially, it was established to design and develop airplanes for the Swedish military, but it later extended its business to the automotive industry. The first car Saab produced was the Saab 92, which was released in 1949. Since then, the company has produced various models, including hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs. Saab is known for its unique designs, advanced safety features, and turbocharged engines, which provide a powerful driving experience. However, the company faced financial difficulties in the 2000s and was eventually purchased by General Motors, which later sold it to Dutch sports car manufacturer Spyker in 2010. In 2011, Saab went bankrupt, and its assets were sold to a Chinese consortium, who continued to use the Saab brand name.
