Here is the long winded version for those interested. This is one of Hondas’ best made vehicles. The Honda s2000 are … remarkably light, have near 50/50 weight distribution, the internals are forged from the factory, this car grips the road and is one of the highest hp NA vehicles. This Honda s2000 is an Ap2 in black. Vehicle is 100% stock/OEM, Meticulously cared for, had PPF on front end from first owner that preserved the paint, and headlights, has ceramic coat and always washed by hand. All maintained by Honda recommended intervals Or earlier. Honda transmission fluid at 86,000, fully synthetic gear oil in front and rear diffs at that time and again at 156,000 miles. Spark plugs (NGK Iridium) replaced at those times as well. Oil changes performed every 3000 miles with mobile 1 and a Wix filter. Brake pads and rotors were replaced at 86000 miles and zero issues with those. MT gear shifter greased at said intervals as well. Never had a single mechanical issue, differential fluid and mt fluid clean at every service interval. Never had to change a belt, alternator, starter, nothing. This vehicle is solid. Never had a drop of oil leak or came out of a gasket. Vehicle has only been registered in OR/WA where the roads are NOT covered in salt during winter. Has higher miles than other s2000s but again this one is driven daily and parked in a garage every night for the last 7 years. Color black is hard to find, especially as well preserved as this one. The paint still looks excellent and there is no curb rash on any wheel. Michelin Pilot sport A/S tires on all 4 corners, replaced recently as well. AC blows ice cold, and never ran at coldest setting to preserve compressor life and serpentine belt. Has never leaked ac refrigerant or needed to be topped off. Previous owner took very good care of the vehicle and preserved it as well. I am the third owner. I spent roughly a year looking for a black s2000, AP2, (04/05 stock wheels), one owner, 100% stock, cared for and not in a state with lots of salt. I am sad to see this one go but I’ve had a good run with her and is time for someone else to enjoy. I have never had a car be so reliable. It still has the original alternator/starter and show no signs of wear. Original radio as well. Soft top does have the tear that was a common wear spot on these cars so I am also including in the listing, a brand new black soft top that is ready for install. As well as brand new headlight assemblies that I bought for when the headlights start to fade. The Passenger side headlight is fading. Also has Honda OEM car cover, OEM CR Titanium shift knob New in box, spare pair of OEM washer sprayer nozzles, spare OEM fuel door release cable. Extra diff fluid crush washers and MT crush washers.
