We have owned this vehicle for several years and have had zero issues with it. Last November, the vehicle was in a rear end incident. We continued driving the vehicle for several months while waiting to get it in for an estimate.
We had zero issues as the damage seemed to only be cosmetic beyond a broken fog light. After getting it in for an estimate, It was determined a total loss by our insurance. Since we had no problem getting around in it previously, we decided to purchase the totaled vehicle back from insurance. It was returned to us in a different condition than the way we left it, as the front bumper and some other parts had been completely removed and were not returned with the vehicle. Several warning lights were on that previously hadn't been.
Service Stabiltrak Service high voltage charging system Service Brake assist It will not charge at all and the parking brake no longer works.
It's not worth our time to go after the body shop and/or insurance company legally. So we are cutting our losses and selling it.
